The RED is a simple, high performance back up device suitable for use by Rope Access technicians.

Tested with 240kg it is suitable for back up rescue loads.

The cams positive locking spring means the device is self-parking rather than self-tailing.

The RED uses rotational braking so the more it rotates the more friction is built up, providing an automatic brake.
